Protective Coatings Equipment

Fluid Technologies Limited is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of spray painting and blasting equipment to the Protective Coatings industry.

For painting we permanently stock Graco’s NXT Xtreme 1K Airless sprayer outfits, along with all the necessary guns, tips and hoses.

FTL are also Graco main distributors for their complete range of Protective Coatings plural component sprayers; from the revolutionary material and time saving ‘XP’ mechanical proportioners, to the ‘Mighty XM’ proportioners for ‘in-plant’ high volume continuous production spraying.

Whether you are spraying steel beams or aircraft carriers or anything inbetween, we can supply everything you need. From a stand alone sprayer to a complete painting facility; designed specifically for your needs and production requirements.

FTL have also recently been appointed as a distributor of Elcometer UK and as such will be stocking their full range of paint inspection and measurement products. FTL also supply Hodge Clemco and stock all parts and consumables for these products.

Contract Decorating Equipment

Fluid Technologies Limited stock Graco’s range of Electric and Petrol Contractor Sprayers, from the baby (in size not performance) 390ST Max to the legendary Mark V plaster sprayers. If you are only just realising the benefits of Airless spraying over more traditional methods such as brush or rollering, then come and talk to us. We will advise you on the appropriate sprayer suited to your requirements and budget.

Processing Industry Equipment

Husky AODD Pumps

Graco’s Husky pumps are as renowned for their comprehensive range of sizes and material configurations, as for they are for their longevity in use (not to mention their sparing use of compressed air).

We supply pump sizes from ¼” to 3”, with all regular sizes in between. Different body material construction, diaphragms, balls and seats for all different fluids and chemicals are also available. Not sure which pump you need? We can quickly advise you on the exact Husky pump for your process, supplying it within a short turnaround.

Hygienic Processing

Graco sanitary equipment is ideal for a wide range of applications: tote, drum and pail evacuation, batching ingredients into processing kettles, vats and mixers, package filling and food product assembly spraying. We have solutions for processes that handle ingredients up to a viscosity of 1.000.000 Centipoise.

Graco Electrostatic Spray Guns

With an inbuilt, air driven DC turbine that does not require an external power supply. Available in Airspray, AA versions with outputs of 60 and 85KV manual or automatic. This is the preferred spray gun of Aircraft manufacturers and airlines worldwide.

Paint Supply Pumps

Pail mounted, small paint supply pumps for use with low pressure, both conventional and electrostatic.

Air Assisted Airless Spray

For faster, more efficient aircraft painting. Typically used in combination with Graco Electrostatic guns. 

Electronic Proportioners

Graco’s range of  two component electronic proportioners for the automatic dosing and dispensing of 2K paints, generally used in OEM aircraft production. Ensures on demand mixing of two component materials for painting, giving reliable and consistent results with material and solvent savings. This significantly reduces the amount of paint and solvent waste, offering a major “environmental plus” during the painting process. 

NDT

Dye Penetrant application equipment for crack detection. We partner with companies supplying plant for the NDT of turbine blades. We provide all the wet and powder electrostatic equipment for this specialised application.

Furniture Spraying Equipment

All of our Air Assisted, Airless spray packages are based on durable and high quality pumps with a broad range of ratios. Possible package configurations include: wall mount, cart mount, stand mount, pail mount, including a large offering of stainless steel and heated models.

We also have electric HVLP and Air Assisted Airless machines available for on-site finishing or small production volumes where the expense of purchasing an air compressor would not be cost effective.
